Ah it's sideways and I don't know how to turn it, but that is the dragon I drew and cut out for Boyd's costume.

I got the pieces cut out for a knight tunic and I am really excited for the sewing part. The material is kind of a black suede feel and the sleeves and hood are a black shiny mesh that hopefully will look like chain mail. I love it that Boyd is really excited for his "Black Knight" costume. Wish me luck that it turns out cute!

    really impressed you drew that! I'm excited to see how your costume turns out. Did you get a pattern, or are you making it up? Making kids costumes for Halloween is one of the things I'm looking forward to most about being a parent :) Good luck! Post pics!

    I got a pattern and I haven't really used patterns and haven't ever done sleeves before, so I am a little nervous. The dragon is just felt and I ironed on that fusible stuff. Next I am making the girls' dresses- yikes!

    It looks really shiny for felt for some reason--it looks cool! Good luck with the sleeves! They make me nervous too! There are a lot of great tutorials out there on youtube and stuff. It's going to turn out so great, I'm excited to see pics! :)
