Hot Day!

We met Jenna and the kids at the Krishna Temple after their exciting sleepover yesterday. What a neat and odd place with a beautiful view. There was a Llama Festival starting that day and we were early. Jenna and the kids were talking about going and later Boyd said, "When's the Donkey Party?" He's so funny!

We got to visit with the llamas and the birds and zebus (a zebu is a type of cow, but its small like a goat with a hump for water). One white bird kept saying "HI" and "Hello" and danced for us. There were some pretty peacocks in the llama pen. We got to feed the llamas some hay. The kids weren't so sure about it at first, but then they thought it was cool. It was a really hot day, the kids were rosy cheeked and covered in sweat. Good thing we brought some drinks and otter pops.

When we got home, we decided to wash the car. Ken detailed the inside and had the kids help on the outside. Even Daisy helped clean the car - she is a big girl, ya know. Its a good job for a hot day.
