Hike pics

These are from our family hike up Provo Canyon. We had a picnic at the South Fork Park first and then had about a 2 mile hike with everybody. The kids got a work out just running around the fields and playing in the stream before we even started up the trail. Lucy always has a pose ready for the camera, silly girl! Daisy got to ride on her dad's shoulders for the first time. She was all stiff for about 10 minutes until she figured out to hold on. About halfway up Daisy was just dying to get down and hike like the big kids, so we let her have a try around the meadow. The bigger kids were looking for "treasure" the whole way up, but were satisfied with rocks and sticks. We found a big, furry caterpillar I've never seen one like it before and the kids thought it was cool. It was so beautiful up the canyon and we had a really fun time!
