We had a great view of the Stadium of Fire without too much of the crowd. Lucy was really excited the whole day and loved the whole show. Boyd finally participated and loved the whole show for the first time. Last year we spent the whole night inside- Boyd was crying, scared to shivers and we did our best trying to get calm and feel safe. He was a whole different kid this year and we are just so proud. After some initial fussing, Boyd found some courage and even held some sparklers and had a great time with his cousin Owen. During one point of the big fireworks Lucy yelled out "America!" in amazement. She's hilarious! I don't even know where that came from, but she's proud of our country.
It was really fun. As much as we love our grandkids when they're babies, they really get fun when they're older.
